We deep dived into the problem statement and created a detailed understanding of sustainability and its impact on alcohols & spirits.
The research was done in 3 parts.
In the first part, client wanted to gauge insights on how is ‘Sustainability getting redefined in the post COVID world & what it means for Alcohol brands.’ For this – we answered some key questions like How is sustainability perceived in general? How is it perceived by consumers globally? How has Covid-19 changed the definition of sustainability? What are the recent developments around environmental sustainability that may affect alcohol industry? and so on.
In the second part, client wanted to know how is ‘Sustainability becoming increasingly important in travel & shopping & what it means for Alcohol brands in travel retail?’ For which – we focused on key questions like How is sustainability articulated in consumers’ travel context? How is this impacted in the post COVID world? and how are alcohol brands responding to the increased importance of sustainability in travel context?
In the third part, we focussed on ‘Sustainability becoming key to brand purposing and how are brands leveraging the opportunity?’ and on ‘Opportunities for Alcohol Companies to repurpose their brands towards sustainability.’
Our insights were used by the client to redefine their business and become more sustainable in their approach.
